What is an NFT?
An NFT (Non-Fungible Token) is a unique digital asset verified on the blockchain. Unlike cryptocurrencies such as ETH, each NFT is one-of-a-kind — it can represent art, music, video, collectibles, and more. Ownership is recorded on-chain, making it verifiable, transferable, and permanently attributed to its creator.
How do I get started on Ethergalleries?
Getting started is simple. Click Sign Up, fill in your details, and verify your email. Once in, you can browse the marketplace immediately. To buy or mint NFTs you'll need to deposit ETH into your account via the Dashboard — our team verifies deposits within 24 hours and credits your balance.
What file formats are supported?
Ethergalleries supports JPG, PNG, GIF, SVG for images; MP4 and WEBM for video; and MP3 and WAV for audio. Maximum file size is 50 MB across all types. High-resolution images are recommended for the best presentation in marketplace listings.
How do I buy an NFT?
Make sure you have sufficient ETH balance in your account. Browse the marketplace, find an NFT you want, and click Buy Now for fixed-price listings. For auctions, place a bid higher than the current one. Once a purchase completes the NFT transfers to your collection immediately.
How do auctions work?
Auctions run for a set time window determined by the seller. Each bid must exceed the previous one by the minimum increment specified. When the auction closes, the highest bidder wins and the NFT is transferred. If you're outbid before the end, your funds are automatically returned to your balance.
How do I list my NFT for sale?
Go to your Dashboard, navigate to My NFTs, and click List for Sale on any unlisted artwork. Set your price and confirm. Listing is completely free — only the initial minting fee applies when creating the NFT. You can delist or change the price at any time before a sale occurs.
What is the minting fee?
Ethergalleries charges a one-time minting fee of 0.4 ETH when you create a new NFT. This fee covers platform maintenance and gas costs. It is deducted from your ETH balance at the moment of minting. There are no additional fees for listing or re-listing your minted NFTs.
How do creator royalties work?
When minting, creators can set a royalty percentage. Every time their NFT is resold on the platform, the original creator automatically receives that percentage of the sale price. This allows artists to benefit continuously from the appreciation of their work long after the initial sale.
How do I deposit funds?
From your Dashboard click Deposit. You'll see our platform wallet address and a QR code. Send ETH to that address from your own wallet, then fill in the transaction details in the deposit form. An admin reviews and credits your balance within 24 hours. Always double-check the wallet address before sending.
How do I withdraw funds?
Click Withdraw in your Dashboard. Enter your ETH wallet address and the amount you wish to withdraw. Withdrawal requests are processed within 1–3 business days after admin approval. Make sure your wallet address is correct — transactions on the blockchain are irreversible.
What currencies are supported?
Ethergalleries primarily supports ETH (Ethereum). All account balances, prices, and transactions are denominated in ETH. WETH (Wrapped Ethereum) is also accepted in some contexts. Support for additional currencies is planned for future platform updates.
How do I verify my email?
After registering, you'll receive a 6-digit verification code by email. Enter it on the verification page to activate your account. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder or request a new code from the login page.
I forgot my password — how do I reset it?
Click Forgot Password on the login page and enter your registered email. You'll receive a reset link valid for 1 hour. Follow it to set a new password. If you don't receive the email, check spam, or contact support@ethergalleries.com.
How secure is my account?
All passwords are encrypted using industry-standard bcrypt hashing — your raw password is never stored. We recommend a strong, unique password and to use email notifications for account activity alerts. Never share your login credentials or JWT tokens with anyone, including support staff.
